What’s new

More accurate GST on scanned receipts.

• Receipts printing the rate beside the amount, like "GST (10%) $4.10", were sometimes misread and the GST worked out from the total instead. Now read correctly.

• On receipts mixing taxable and GST-free items, such as a grocery shop, GST is no longer estimated for you — the estimate can be about double what you can claim, so the field is left blank to fill in from the receipt.

• A savings total is no longer mistaken for the amount paid.
