The device to be used with this app is not a GPS tracker. It only pairs to your phone via Bluetooth. If either device is out of bluetooth range they will both alarm. The app does not show where the tracker is, it only shows the location of the phone. The app map has a list of instances where the devices were out of range of each other (alarms) but if you click on them the app crashes. So it has some bugs to be worked out yet. (This is on a Samsung Galaxy S23 in conjunction with Google Maps)

The app and the iTagPro device that uses this app are terrible. The app user interface and functions are cryptic. It's very difficult to tell when the various steps are completed or active. The iTagPro device is also a scam. it's advertised as a GPS device. In fact, it is a short-range Bluetooth device. Never buy the iTagPro, and you'll never need this dysfunctional app.

It connected & worked just fine, the 1st time.. As soon as it went out of range (me 'test driving' it at home ;)) it stopped seeing the iTags completely. I tried restarting the app, turning both iTags on/off, reconnecting it anew, doing all of the above together and one by one and still no luck. I'll give it a very last try, and reinstall the app, but it's already a major waste of my time. If I didn't really need it meanwhile for my dumb cat, I wouldn't even bother this much for keys or wallet.
