Set hundreds of years in the future on the distant planet of Aida, the shared open-world MMORPG, anime-infused sci-fi adventure Tower of Fantasy from developer Hotta Studio and publisher Level Infinite, is now available on PC and mobile platforms globally. Players will be able to experience an anime-inspired post-apocalyptic sci-fi art style, freeform character development, and exciting combat through thrilling battles and exciting open-world exploration.

In Tower of Fantasy, dwindling resources and a lack of energy have forced mankind to leave earth and migrate to Aida, a lush and habitable alien world. There, they observed the comet Mara and discovered an unknown but powerful energy called "Omnium" contained in it. They built the Omnium Tower to capture Mara, but due to the influence of Omnium radiation, a catastrophic disaster occurred on their new homeworld.

Ratings and reviews

So far the gameplay experience has improved significantly and I hardly get any crashes. What I'm having issues with is controller support. Sometimes I play on an external monitor with Samsung Dex, so I connect my PS4 controller and start the game but I cannot enter by pressing any buttons from the server selection. I'm not sure if it's mostly compatible with Xbox controllers but I would like to see better support for PS4 controllers. A good solution would be to allow custom button mapping.

I can't give it more than 3 stars. It's ambitious as hell for a mobile game. It plays well and looks even better. The problem is the frame rate. No matter what the settings are the frame rate crashes to the point where your character will freeze. As an added bonus, sometimes the game crashes too. Often in fact. I know my phone can handle this game on maxed out graphics. Yet it crashes constantly. They will fix it but for now I'm deleting it.

I'd say this is a pretty good game, even though my phone can barely run it (seeing as my hardware doesn't meet the minimum required). It was still good, of course there are some issues with stuff like captions not matching dialogue, but that's minor issues. No major ones like game breaking issues. The story is also not completely linear (I was able to go from chapter 2 - 7 somehow) which isn't a bad thing, unless you see that as bad. The combat is also really good, with a lot of weapons.
