Better to access through a browser Whilst the app is easy to use and works if everything you have has a barcode, it's more limited than the web version. Even the titles can't be displayed with images for example in the list view. Biggest problem was that there is no search to add a new item, either barcode or fully manual entry. Overall libib is great, but the app needs more features
Great app; could use some minor improvements This app is fantastic. Adding books is extremely quick and easy, as long as there is a barcode. Suggested improvements: 1. Allow information lookup by manual ISBN entry and not only by barcode (I almost never hold on to dust jackets and I don't think I'm the only one). 2. Allow one to input 'X' when indicating ISBN. It's currently numbers only which means one can't enter any ISBN ending in X, which seems quite an oversight. 3. Allow one to add a photo of the cover when inputting data manually.
User friendly but buggy! The app is user friendly and really intuative but there is no way to exit. I click on back and nothing happens. Would give more as a score but as long as the basics dont work i cant. Its been a while and a few updates since my review and they still didnt add a way to exit the app which is simple ro do .... So drop in the stars as long as its not fixed
Almost perfect I'd give it 10 stars, if it could do two more things. The first being the ability to edit cover photos via the mobile app, and secondly to save and manually label unknown barcodes when scanned; also within the Android application.(for foreign titles etc) This app is great but needs to be full service; when it is it will be worthy of paying for a PRO version as well
Amazing! I logged all of our books in a matter of a few hours. What an amazing app! It needs the option to change colors, both on the phone app and the desktop. Too much white hurts my eyes. Also, it would be nice to search by ISBN and Keywords like you can on the desktop version. However, scanning with a barcode in and of itself is an amazing feature. It found about 80% of the books I scanned. Most of the ones I had to enter manually were vintage or very obscure.
Simple, beautiful and FAST This is my go to app for quickly scanning by library books to track what graphic novels I have checked out. I LOVE how quickly I can add multiple items using the barcode scanner. However, I really want to be able to export to a csv from the app. I'm glad I can use the website to do so, but it's an extra few steps that are inconvenient for me. Other features I'd like to see: ability to copy books between libraries, and letting me exit the app w/the back button.
We never have nag popups, please consider rating!
