I think this app is pretty well done. I had used Duolingo previously, and this was very nice by comparison. It explains things well and works intuitively. I The overall design is simple, but not boring. I've only come across one problem, so far. I have this app on two devices, a phone and an iPad. At the end of the lesson, when you're supposed type out a sentence using the provided characters, the characters aren't properly scrambled. The pattern is obvious, and it's not hard to figure out.

I love learning basic Chinese (Mandarin) with this free version. Lingo deer makes it very fun once you get started. Plus there are a lot of different ways to practice so that you can retain your skills. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of five, is that it is pretty tougto find which lesson you left off with if it's Ben a while since you've opened the app. And if you're using the free version, you get interrupted by ads for an upgrade when you're trying to find the lesson that is avail

I really like this app. I have Duolingo, too, for learning the same language, but this one focuses equally on the sentence structure as it does the words it's teaching you, and thats what I was struggling with. I do wish they had a few more speaking excersizes, but even though I barely know any Korean, I can at least form full sentences now instead of just random words. Also the deer is cuter than the owl.
