Listing it! takes all your checklists to a whole new level. Or several actually. It allows each item in a checklist to become a checklist of its own, allowing you to nest them and put them all in one easy-to-navigate hierarchy. It comes with a powerful options to import, export and share your checklists. Once you start using it, you may just find it’s what you’ve been missing to get organized.

Making checklists within checklists is a natural thing to do. Now, with Listing it!, you can do it naturally.
Whether you're making a to do list, a grocery list, a project task list, or a packing checklist, or any other sort of checklist, you'll love the hierarchical possibilities that listing it provides and the ease with which you can make your 'tree lists'. You can nest checklists into as many levels as you wish.

Ratings and reviews

This is an intuitive and easy to use checkbox list app that works better than the many others I tested. However, I wish it offered a mode that simply allowed me to check and uncheck items in a list, instead of sending them to the bottom when I select, and then to the top again after I'm done.

I found this app to replace another checklist app that I have been using for almost 10 years -- the developer of that app stopped supporting the product. I am happy to say that Listing It! not only replaces the functionality that I was losing but it adds capabilities I wish the old app had. For instance -- I can now search for desired items in a long list; I can prioritize checklist items; the app developer replies to questions in a timely manner; and much more. This is a mature product!

Tremendous organizing tool. Unlimited hierarchy, quick navigation. No gratuitous permissions. No frills, just function. 5 ⭐s. Edit: in 2022 it still is an excellent app. However, there are no breadcrumbs or other easy way to navigate back levels (aside from going to the "home" level.) For nested lists, this feature would greatly improve work flow. Currently the method is menu driven. Moving nested item to different parent lists could also be easier. Also needs sync ability. Now 4 ⭐s.
