Far too easy to beat the AI - even on its highest difficulty, it'll flip as many disks as it can early and mid game, give away corners, flip disks you can easily and irreverisbly flip back and rarely makes moves that improve its position. Would have happily paid the subscription and continued playing if the AI wasn't such a pushover, as everything else is well put together.

A lot of ads. Muting the sound in the game settings doesn't mute the ads. You have to mute each one as it pops up. That's a real pain if you're trying to play while listening to music, a podcast, etc. Finally, going ad-free is a subscription rather than just buying the game. Absolutely ridiculous.

We now have subscriptions to stop ads on games? I was more than willing to just pay $5 for an ad free version (which is honestly more than this app is worth), but that'll only get me a year of no ads. Funny thing is, I probably wouldn't have even continued playing this for a year, so I would've been willing to shell out more money to just not have to pay for a subscription.
