Everything in the house, room by room.
Itemise is a home inventory you keep yourself. Photograph what you own, write down what it cost and what it would cost to replace today, and keep the serial numbers an insurer asks for. When the day comes that you have to prove what was in the house, the record is already made.
A room at a time
Five rooms are laid out for a first run — kitchen, living room, bedroom, garage, loft — and you can add, rename or remove any of them. Each room shows its photograph, how many things are in it, and what they are worth together.
What you can record for each thing
- What it is, and when you bought it
- What you paid
- What it would cost to replace today
- Its serial number
- Photographs, taken in the app or chosen from your gallery
A figure you do not know stays empty rather than becoming a zero, because a zero on a page an insurer reads is a claim that the thing cost nothing.
The schedule of loss
Itemise adds the rooms up into a total replacement value and lays the whole house out as a schedule of loss: what the house held, room by room, with the total. Export it as a PDF and it is a document you can send.
Nothing leaves your phone
Itemise has no internet permission at all. There is no account, no sign-up, no sync and no ads, and nothing you type or photograph can be sent anywhere — there is no path out of the app for it to travel. Your inventory is a single file in the app's own private storage, which the rest of the phone cannot read.
Four document styles
Your inventory can be prepared in four styles, and the app itself is drawn in the one you choose: a ruled evidence sheet, a surveyor's grid, an attic register, a hearth ledger. Evidence Sheet is included in this release; the other three are part of Pro, which is not on sale yet.
Eight languages
English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Polish and Portuguese. Dates and figures follow your phone's language, so a value is written the way your language writes numbers.
Free
Everything described above is in this release at no cost, with no ads and no account. No purchase is possible in this version.
