Keepspan is a ledger for everything in a home that wears out: appliances, electronics, the boiler and the tools in the shed.
Add a thing once - what it is, when you bought it, what it cost and how many years it should last - and Keepspan draws its span: a bar with one tick for every year, the spent part filled in and the rest still to come.
THE ROSTER
Every thing on one page, colour-coded by where it is in its life. Anything close to the end of its expected life, or with a warranty about to run out, moves to the top with a warning. A summary strip at the top totals what is protected and counts the warranties ending and the service due.
WARRANTIES
The provider, the date cover ends and the receipt photo. While cover is live the detail screen says so in as many words: a fault inside a live warranty is the manufacturer's cost, not yours.
PARTS ON A SCHEDULE
A drain filter, a door seal, a CR2032. Set how often each one is replaced and the app counts the days to the next one, then says it is due - or how far overdue it is.
SERVICE HISTORY
Every repair with its date and cost, newest first, plus the total spent on that thing since you bought it.
REPAIR OR REPLACE
This is the question the app exists to answer. Keepspan adds up what it knows - age, expected life, money already spent on repairs and whether the warranty is still live - and gives a plain verdict: keep it, watch it, or put the next repair towards a replacement instead.
Nothing is guessed. If a figure has not been entered, the read says so rather than filling the gap.
FREE AND THE LOADCIRCLE PASS
Three things are free for good, with no limit on warranties or service entries and no adverts.
The Pass lifts the cap so the whole house can go in, adds a receipt photo to every warranty, and exports the whole ledger as a PDF you can hand to a landlord, an insurer or the next owner of the house.
Cloud sync and household sharing are on the roadmap and are marked in the app as not included today.
YOUR DATA
Everything you type stays on this phone in a local database. There is no account, no upload and no analytics, so the ledger still opens with the phone in aeroplane mode.
Warranties, repairs and service dates. Know when to repair or replace.
