Stop doomscrolling today and reclaim your time! LOCKR is a screen time control app blocker that uses a personalized AI focus coach. You select the apps you want to block and whenever you open one of those apps, LOCKR intercepts it. To get access to an app, you have to provide a reason for the access. The coach will evaluate your reason and, based on the strictness that you set, it will decide on an appropriate amount of time for your access. When the timer ends, it will lock you out of the app again. It works with your screen time data to adapt your coach's strictness, track your progress, and show you exactly how much time you've reclaimed relative to your goal. LOCKR uses Android’s AccessibilityService API to detect when you open restricted apps like social media or games, and block or redirect them as part of its screen-time control features. This is the app’s core functionality.

LOCKR does not record, transmit, or share your screen contents. The service only runs for apps you specifically choose to restrict.

LOCKR also lets users set personal lifestyle goals, such as daily steps, distance walked or run, and active calories burned, to encourage healthier real-world habits instead of phone use.

With user permission, LOCKR connects to Health Connect to automatically display progress toward these goals, removing the need to manually track fitness data.

I found this app through an edit and decided to try it because I wanted a reliable way to reduce my screen time. At first, it worked perfectly and I really liked it. Unfortunately, after the first day, the app stopped working completely. Every time I open it, I only get a black screen I tried restarting my phone and uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but after signing back in, the same issue happens again. It's disappointing because the app showed a lot of promise.I hope this bug gets fixed

I installed this app hoping somebody would stop me from doomscrolling.I paid about 27 euros for a year of this apps control hoping for the best.Turns out after a few days of doing a good progress the stupid ai stops restrictions. I have it set up to not let me in but when I open tiktok,youtube,Instagram etc. the ai dosent even pop-up.Which frustrated me cuz I paid for it.It was the worst 27 euros I ever spent.This works for like 5 days then its just a waste of time and money.Dont use this app

I saw a post talking about this app and I thought it would probably be good for my health and stuff boom scrolling and all that stuff and after I went through all the setup it just gave me a paywall so I couldn't use any of the things until I bought a subscription. I really thought this would have been better but I don't like it.
