You can create a new event, start selling tickets, and market your event all within Luma. It takes just a few minutes to connect your bank account and then you’ll receive next day payment as guests buy tickets.

SMS AND EMAIL INVITES

Now you’ve created your event — who is going to come? You can sync your contacts and easily send a mass SMS invite message.

In addition, Luma makes it incredibly easy to invite past guests again and to send email invites.

CHECK IN GUESTS

If you want to track attendance, you can check in guests with our built in QR code scanner and check in system. Guests will be able to show their QR code to scan in — or you can look them up by their name or email.

You can add cohosts to your event who can also check in guests and manage the event together.

it's really helpful for students to explore new things like hackathons,networking ,workshops,events etc . It is also helpful for startups , bringing new ideas etc. We can find our interested domains by sorting in a particular location. So it's the best app I have ever seen .

edit: from 3 to 2 stars after dev response. my art event doesn't show up for me, an artist, looking for art events. so that's a pretty terrible curation. not to mention curation based on the app decides is not helpful. I'll be deleting the app after this event (which I'm sure won't bring any new members). good luck. using as an organizer. I enjoy the app layout and functionality. unfortunately my event is not showing up in discover. so this looks like yet another bust for a Meetup replacement.

do require photos by personal profiles and official logos by companies. no attendees list clear enough (compared to Meetup). further well enough, I am considering becoming an organizer extending, maybe replacing Meetup. good job guys, keep basis organizing options free forever what will guarantee bigger name recognizability and market share.

What’s new

Search now has location and date filters and can find virtual events. You can now share an event poster or QR code straight from the event page. We've also fixed various bugs with links and dates.
