Minimal features, looks nice The best feature is the UI and the accuracy of the reader. Apart from that...the graph display doesn't display a graph, but a list...why even have a graph icon? It's even like that in the app photos. It doesn't sync to google fit which would be nice, since it has wear support already. But it's the best BPM meter available since the OTHER BPM meter switched all their paid pro customers to a subscription plan and held features we paid for hostage without any notice...
Not too bad I've changed the rating a few times. I've seen a few apps that claim they can measure your pulse and they are total flops.. This app does a fairly decent job at it. You have to keep your finger still and keep the phone completely still. if you don't it will add a few extra beats. You will get same results from the $30-$40 pulse ox you can buy at any pharmacy or Walmart. Can't complain too much for being free.
I thought this was fake I thought this app was just wild guessing the figures, I tried checking my bpm when I was lying in bed and I got around 80 then I did jumping jacks then the measurement sky rocketed. It may not be that accurate but who knew that we could use the built in camera of our phone to take bpm. For those who say it is not working, you are not correctly doing it.
The only real heart rate app I have a Samsung Galaxy S5, they have a real heart rate sensor built into them, this is the only heart rate app I have found that has been able to actually use it. All the others just use your camera with your flash on and are not accurate. So I am quite impressed with this app and kudos to its developer for actually including the functions that make it work with a real heart rate sensor.
Great for Wear devices I downloaded this app for using it with LG G Watch R, and I am pleasantly surprised - it works much better than the built-in heart rate monitor! It gives HR reading much faster than the built-in app, and shows you when you have good readings from the sensor A big, serious negative, spoiling the whole great experience though, is the color scheme. It is simply killing my watch battery :( Can you please make it inversed, on a black background? It makes huge differences on OLED displays? Ed: Why not autostart but I have to push the button? Why would I start it on the watch if not to measure my heart rate?!?
It doubles my heart rate I think you may be calculating heart rate based on frame timing. My camera is 30fps, maybe the devices you're testing on are 60fps. Try detecting frame rate and changing the timing calculation based on that. Also, I noticed that you don't display the actual blood pressure chart like the azumio heart rate app does. It's a small touch, but I think theirs feels more reliable because of that.
