About this app

Sail Time is a logbook for seafarers. Record every contract once, and Sail Time keeps your sea-service total, your rank history and your days abroad up to date - whether you are a deck cadet, engineer or a master.

YOUR SEA TIME, AT A GLANCE
- Total sea time shown as years, months and days, with the exact day count underneath
- Contracts grouped by rank, newest first, with a running total for each rank
- Ship, rank, ship type, owner/pool, joining and sign-off ports, and contract dates for every contract
- Swipe a contract to edit or delete it; every delete can be undone

DAYS AT SEA AND PASSPORT DAYS
- Days at sea per calendar year, per financial year (1 April - 31 March) or for any custom date range
- Add the dates you left and returned home to count passport days (days outside your home country)
- Choose whether travel days count: exclude the arrival day, the departure day, or both
- Set a limit line (for example 183 days for tax residency or NRI status) and see at a glance how many days you have left, or how far over you are

EXPORT AND SHARE
- Export your sea service as CSV or PDF for flag states, certification bodies or your own records

YOUR ACCOUNT
- Sign in with email, Google or phone
- Your logbook syncs to your account, so it moves with you to a new phone
- Works offline and syncs when you're back online
- Add a profile photo and ship photos: crop them square and Sail Time shrinks them before upload
- Light, dark or system appearance
- Delete your account and all your data from the Profile screen at any time
