About this app

New App My SmartBike, by MAHLE, provides you an enhanced e-bike riding experience by using your smartphone as the interface to your bicycle. Our application is designed to help tune, customize e-bike performance and enjoy your trips. Connect with your e-bike and adjust your preferences, customize motor maps to adapt the MAHLE SmartBike System to your personal necessities, remaining batteries, record your activities, have access to statistics, see bike location and more.

If you need detailed information and a dynamic experience, our web app (www.my-smartbike.com) enables you to analyze the routes in detail and graphically comparing data as elevation, health-related data and exclusive metrics from e-bikes, the tour on maps and share it through third platforms.

You can now pair a heart rate band and activate the special assistance mode, where system assistance adapts automatically depending on your heart rate.

Protect your app with biometric authentication such as Face ID or fingerprint detection and also define your private areas (home, garage, office) to protect last mile information if you make your activity public.

Ride in dark mode with ease.
New app will automatically switch to dark mode to match your phones presets.

Ratings and reviews

Two big issues. 1 Data display is not always accurate while riding. After recording ends it seems to true up but disconcerting while riding. 2 no way to edit. so my phone died at the end of the ride. I drove home and charged up 2 hours later. it added the mileage and time to home. But I can't edit it to correct. this could affect total mileage recorded for the bike. glad it wasn't a 400 mile trip home! Plus at least twice, rides were finished and saved and then disappeared totally.

On my Android version 11 device: "This app is not available for your device". In the "About this app" text: "Requires Android 7 and up". Right... If that's no longer true, then please update it.

Settings icon is covered by the status bar and can't be tapped. I also have to re-add my bike every time I want to connect to it. pixel 9 pro running latest android 16.
