SOS Alert is an emergency app which helps you out whenever your safety is at risk by reaching out to your emergency contacts and providing them with your current location.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

1. Whenever you are in an emergency, you need to press the SOS Widget or the SOS button in the app
2. As soon as you press the button/widget, a countdown of 10 seconds starts immediately (you can cancel the SOS Alert if you want to, before the countdown ends)
3. When the countdown ends, the app fetches your location from the GPS on your device and sends (through SMS) your location along with your SOS Message (which is pre-saved on your device) to the emergency contacts that you have registered in the app
4. The registered emergency contacts receive your SOS Message and a link of your current location as an SMS from your mobile number

Ratings and reviews

At first sight this appears to be easier than other similar apps for an elderly or impaired user in that a changeable delay can be chosen prior to sending text(s) and huge font allowing cancellation if app triggered in error. The whole app then becomes a mighty laughing stock as the emergency texts are not sent. What an utter waste of everyone's time, this hardly does the developer's reputation any good. Zero would have been given if possible!!!!

In present situation girls feel insecure. Deu to over corruption in india girls and women not feel secure and they feel uncomfortable in going outside the house so in this situation they can get some support and can improve own confidence. In today's time everyone have their own smart phone and this can be very helpful for girls and women. But there is a little problem that not every girls and women know about this app so first it is necessary to know about app.

This app don't work ... I tried it many times noone resived message.. how could a girl feel safe with this app. If there will an emergency and app don't work so what will girls do?????
