Typing on the TV remote was always slow, so I tried the keyboard in this app. It’s much faster for searching on YouTube and Netflix, and it also helps in the browser inside the supported apps. Once I’m connected, I can type normally without hunting for characters on the screen. That alone makes the app worth using regularly.

We have two Samsung TVs, one in the living room and one in the bedroom. This remote app makes it easy to switch between them without digging for a different physical remote. The app detects the TVs and switching is straightforward. I mainly use it for volume, channel changes, and launching apps like Netflix. It saves me the frustration of mismatched remotes.

I bought this because my Samsung remote died and I didn’t want to wait for new batteries. Setup was simple: phone and TV on the same Wi‑Fi, open the app, choose the TV, and it connects.
