The following permissions are required for the app. You can use the app without optional permissions, but some functions may be limited.

• Location : Used to locate your devices, create routines based on your location, and scan for nearby devices using Wi-Fi
• Nearby devices : (Android 12 ↑) Used to scan for nearby devices using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)
• Notifications : (Android 13 ↑) Used to provide notifications about SmartThings devices and features
• Camera : Used to scan QR codes so you can easily add members and devices to SmartThings
• Microphone : Used to add certain devices to SmartThings using high-frequency sounds
• Files and media : (Android 12) Used to save data and share content
• Photos and videos : (Android 13 ↑) Used to play photos and videos on SmartThings devices
• Music and audio : (Android 13 ↑) Used to play sound and video on SmartThings devices
• Phone : (Android 12 ↑) Used to make calls on smart speakers

Ratings and reviews

I cannot seem to use this app as it's stuck in a loop of verification requests. It sends a verification code after login. You enter the code. Page reloads. It sends and asks for another code. Repeat this in a loop until it finally says it can no longer send you codes and you are locked out because of too many requests. Maybe this is a great app, but the setup seems to be broken.

For about a month now, all I can do is turn on/off my TV's. If I try to open the remote on a specific TV, all it does is "downloading" and once it reaches 100%, nothing happens; it just stays stuck on 100%. I've tried rebooting my phone, deleting and reinstalling the app, flashing my TV's. Nothing. On top of that, the app isn't compatible with the new Alexa AI. All it can do is turn on or off the TV; it won't pause anything anymore.

Unreliable, do not trust this software. It does not alert you of low or even dead batteries in trackers unless you open the app and check manually. There is no reason it should not automatically do this to keep you informed. Otherwise, the app is far over complicated with no rhyme or reason to organization or interface. Find another method to do whatever you need to do with this app.
