WHAT THE APP OFFERS:
- 2D representations of fingerspelling
- Handshapes from an alphabet being stringed together to form words
- Handshapes of an alphabet only (e.g. for most alphabets: 1 handshape of letter A, 1 of letter B, 1 of the letter C and so on…)
WHAT THE APP DOES NOT OFFER:
- 3D representations of fingerspelling
- Continuous, natural spelling of words
- Handshape variations (e.g. 2 handshapes of the letter A, 3 of letter B, 4 of the letter C (including "cle", "ch" handshapes), 2 HS of the letter D, and so on…)
INSTALLATION AND USE:
1. Download and install app
2. Enable keyboard: activate Connect Deaf
3. Switch keyboard: select Connect Deaf
4. Select your preferred sign language alphabet
5. Launch your social media app and when you click to type, the Connect Deaf keyboard will appear
