Thank you. Just thank you. I have searched for a very long time for a good quality, free drawing app, and here I have found it. The amount of options for no price is just phenomenal! This is SO much easier to use than apps like sketchbook, and I feel inspired to draw digitally again. The only thing I ask for is maybe a pencil tool that looks more like a real pencil, but after seeing the possibilities of this app, I don't even know if it needs it. So thank you, from the bottom of my heart. If I could rate this 4.99 I would.
the brushes are so smooth and the tools are so advanced for a free app... usually with free apps you need to pay for extra features but not this one. i dont think i can even come up with a downside to this one, which is rare because im quite picky ; the fill tool has an expand feature if you want to fill in more pixels ; tons of brushes.. and i mean tons... and theyre all so smooth and pretty. theyre so professional and textured all for free ; you can actually have as many layers as you want ; you can adjust how smooth you want the lines to be if you got a shaky hand ; you can upload the art to the medibang website and save your art online ; ability to save colors you like ; easy to get used to ; no pro membership needed... its all free
Best out of the drawing apps I could find. Using on the lenovo yoga book (which is generally not responsive and crashes with most drawing apps). Barely crashes at all and the autosave feature is a lifesaver. Has basically every feature i have been looking for in a drawing app (export to psd, detailed pen controls, expanding fill, infinite layers) Suggestions: new colour selection options (HSL would be a really nice option).
I would have gave this app 5 stars, but... it is really awkward when you are trying to draw with a a paper ratio of 16:9 (widescreen). Because the app dosent allow you to turn your phone sideways, so it is always vertical, if you like it or not. I would love to see an update to change that. Other than that, best drawing app that I have ever used!
Has MANY essential tools, allows bitmap brushes which is really necessary, can transfer data between devices, and is a generally good mobile art program. There is also a desktop version for both of and Mac that I use and it contains the same things (if not a few more). Both programs are easy to learn. I love it!
Great app but I don't see options to create some of the comic panel types that are seen in manga Amazing app! A few suggestions: There aren't enough options for creating unique comic panels, especially those seen in shoujo manga. I would like to be able to create a panel inside or overlapping another panel. I want to have the option to pick different panel borders, such as one made of a dashed line. I wish to use unique shapes when separating panels, like a zig-zag line that creates the appearance of a mirror broken in half. I'd like to use geometric shapes (circles, triangles) for panel creation.
