Important Hardware Requirement

Mediconex works together with a compatible Mediconex IoT health monitoring device. The mobile application connects to this external device to collect and display health readings. The app alone cannot measure health parameters without the supported Mediconex hardware device.

About Mediconex

Mediconex is a mobile health (mHealth) platform designed to improve access to healthcare services for people living in remote and rural areas. By combining IoT-based health monitoring devices with a mobile application, Mediconex helps patients connect with doctors, monitor basic health parameters, and maintain digital health records.

The platform is developed to support healthcare delivery in underserved communities, particularly in remote and tribal regions of Manipur, where access to hospitals and regular medical checkups can be limited.

Vital Monitoring with IoT Device

Mediconex allows users to monitor basic health parameters using the compatible Mediconex IoT health monitoring device.

Supported measurements include:

• Heart Rate (HR)
• Blood Oxygen (SpO₂)
• Body Temperature
• Blood Pressure
• Body Weight

These measurements are collected through the external device and displayed in the app through charts and visual indicators for easier tracking.

The device is designed for basic health screening and monitoring purposes and is intended to be used with the guidance or presence of trained Community Health Workers in villages and rural areas of Manipur.

Doctor Consultation & Telemedicine

Mediconex enables patients to connect with doctors through teleconsultation features.

Users can:

• View available doctors
• Contact doctors directly through the app
• Receive digital prescriptions
• Schedule appointments with doctors

Doctors can review health information and provide professional guidance during consultations.

All medical evaluations, prescriptions, and final healthcare decisions are made only by qualified doctors.

Pharmacy Support

Mediconex also helps users connect with pharmacies after consultation. Users can view prescriptions issued by doctors and coordinate medicine access through the app.

Personal Health Records

The platform securely stores patient health information and history.

• Patient–device linking using QR codes
