I've been running my group for two years now with meetup, and while I think it's already overpriced, it's also unreliable! Most recently, I created an event, but it was pointed out to me a week in advance that I had it for the wrong day. I tried to edit it to the correct day, and an event was created, but the event with the bad date remained! To make matters worse, I have no way to react to any mistake and let those RSVPed know the issue without blasting every single member!

I just started my first group. I'm enjoying it so far. UPDATE: I am still enjoying planning events but for the past month and after several emails I am still having technical difficulties that no one is correcting. I have so many dead spots in my app that I click on and the page goes dim but nothing loads. for $50 a month it is rather upsetting that I can't fully utilize the organizer app

The app is not so great anymore. It's more glitchy than in the early years, and the "steering" of attendees to communicate with others after an event for a fee feels contrived like a dating app, while trying to connect to an attendee for something as simple as "Hey, you left your hiking poles in my car, how can I get them to you?" is impossible.
