About this app

Dxl Tracker is a simple app you can use to log your travels.

You can create tracks, place markers and add memos to them. Memos can be as simple as text and allow attachments like photos, videos, pdfs and any other files you want to save.

Optional safety features (user-enabled on a journal map):
• Off-track alert – warns you if you move too far from a saved route
• POI alert – notifies you when you are near a saved memo on your route

GPS recording runs only when you start it from the app, with a visible notification you can stop at any time. Background location (Allow all the time in Android Settings) is optional and only needed if you want recording or safety alerts to continue while the screen is off or you use other apps.

Your journal data is stored locally on your device.

The data can be exported as kml, kmz files and uploaded to your Google Drive storage account. The app provides support to set read permissions, for other Google accounts, to read your files on Gdrive.
