Really slow. After answering a question, I need to wait and stare at the screen for no reason instead of immediately jumping to the next question and receiving quick audio-visual feedback. After a couple of sessions, the time adds up, and it feels like I could cram much more words in a shorter period of time, but the app just won't let me. I can learn much faster from a standard dictionary. It is pretty much a waste of time.

Memrise used to be great. However, now I'm coming back to learn Spanish again and it wouldn't load the lessons. I contacted support about it and they gave me the run around. We eventually got the "new version" running, but it's full of bugs too and basically unusable. The ai chatbot is speaking to me like I know far more than I do. There's also been multiple errors when trying to load lessons. This feels like memrise was bought out by someone who doesn't care about the product at all.

Unfortunately, this app has become terrible. After each lesson, it directs me to using the AI chatbot (with the same scenarios on cycle, making it very boring), but if I don't want to use it, I need to go back to home and click the lesson tab to access the next lesson. But when I do, the lesson session fails to load. Then, the most infuriating thing is that, once it fails to load, the app registers it as me having mastered that course, when I haven't even started the learning yet. Very unhappy
