About this app

Meows is a native Android app for monitoring and managing Linux servers and VPS instances over SSH. It includes live monitoring, an interactive terminal, Docker controls, SSH tunnels and network tools.

Your Android device connects to each server directly or through a bastion host you configure. There is no Meows agent or daemon to install, no extra management port to expose, and no Meows relay between your device and your servers.

MONITOR YOUR SERVERS

See CPU, memory, disk, network, uptime and connection status in one dashboard. History charts help you follow recent changes. Related processes, mount points or network interfaces appear underneath when available.

Receive alerts when CPU, memory or disk usage crosses a threshold, or when a server goes offline and comes back online.

TERMINAL, DOCKER AND TUNNELS

Open an interactive SSH terminal without leaving the app. Start, stop and restart Docker containers and follow live logs, all over SSH without exposing a Docker remote API port.

Use bastion hosts for servers that are not directly reachable. Create local or remote SSH tunnels for port forwarding.

MEOWS LENS AND TOOLS

Meows Lens recognizes IP addresses, domains, URLs and permission strings in terminal output and Docker logs. Tap an object to run a related DNS or WHOIS query, inspect a TLS certificate, look up an IP, convert permissions, or view related Shell commands before copying them.

Nothing runs automatically just because Lens recognizes it.

Meows also includes a subnet calculator, Cron generator, regex tester, base converter, timestamp converter and permission calculator, plus Linux command and C standard library references.

Server cards can optionally show whether services such as Netflix, YouTube Premium, Claude and Gemini appear to be available from the server's outgoing IP and region. The badges do not mean an account or subscription is included.

SECURITY AND DATA

SSH credentials are encrypted on your device with AES-GCM. The encryption keys are managed by Android Keystore.

Meows has no analytics, telemetry or advertising SDKs. No Meows backend receives your monitoring data.

The only runtime permission is notifications. The main app still works if you deny it.

Privacy mode can block screenshots, screen recording and previews in the recent apps screen.

Optional backups are encrypted on your device before being stored in Google Drive's app-private storage.

One-time purchase. No subscription, ads or in-app purchases.
Requires Android 14 or newer.
