About Meow Wolf:
Meow Wolf started in 2008 as a small collective of Santa Fe artists sharing an interest in publicly displaying their works and developing their skills together. This collaborative approach blossomed into Meow Wolf's distinctive style of immersive, maximalist environments that encourage audience-driven experiences. We have numerous full-time artists on staff, working in a huge range of media, including sculpture, painting, fabrication, digital art, writing, film and more. Additionally, we prioritize collaboration with local artists in each exhibition location. The Meow Wolf app is our latest creation… or discovery, depending on your perspective.

Ratings and reviews

WiFi sign-in issues haven't been fixed for over a year now, and the app fails to register all of the locations you've visited, so it never thinks you've finished the location. The info it adds to the experince is pretty minimial anyway. Using your phone also means you're seeing random notifications that pull you out of the experince. Just skip the app and enjoy real-life art that's right in front of you.

Absolutely essential if you're going to any of Meow Wolf's locations! Walking around the exhibits will give you lore and fascinating insights into what you're experiencing, and may even help you solve some mysteries. My phone had a bit of trouble connecting to all of their Bluetooth points despite finding the vast majority of the secrets at the location we visited, but I think that was an issue with my phone, not their infrastructure. Just make sure you have Bluetooth (and Wi-Fi) capabilities!

I loved visiting Radio Tave!! The app was instrumental in me being able to make sure I got to see everything. I love the little extras that would pop up in the app about each area.

What’s new

This update introduces a simplified Psychic Sensor setup experience for when you arrive at an exhibition. We have also ensured that we comply with Google's 16kb requirements.
