About this app
NR Proxy lets you secure and route your Android connection through your own proxy server. Add your proxy, tap the big power button, and you are connected - no complicated setup.
KEY FEATURES
- One-tap connect: a clean power button with clear status, so you always know if the proxy is on.
- SOCKS5 and HTTP support: SOCKS5 is selected by default.
- Smart paste: paste server:port:username:password and every field is filled in automatically.
- Fast credential check: login details are verified with a quick test connection before the VPN starts.
- Saved profiles: keep several proxies, automatically named New Profile 1, 2, 3 and rename them anytime. Mark one as your default.
- Proxy location card: after you connect, see the proxy IP, country, region, city, ZIP code and ISP, each with its own copy button.
- Split tunneling: choose which apps use the proxy, or which apps bypass it. Installed apps are shown with their icons.
- Live connection log: watch real-time download and upload speed and the list of connections.
- Quick Settings tile: turn the proxy on or off from the notification shade. If no proxy is set up, the tile opens the app and tells you what is missing.
- Voice mode (optional): say "start" or "stop" while the app is open to control the proxy. The microphone is used only for these commands and only after you turn the feature on and allow the permission.
- Country Short Name tool: search any country by name and copy its 2-letter code with one tap.
- Auto-reconnect, stop-on-Wi-Fi-loss, always-on VPN shortcut, light and dark themes, and multiple languages.
HOW IT WORKS
NR Proxy uses Android's VPN service only to send your device traffic to the proxy server that you enter. You bring your own proxy - the app does not provide proxy servers.
