Health consultations between health professionals and patients.

This app allows both health professionals and patients to register to offer and receive health consultations respectively. Meydey works as a Marketplace regulated in prices, that is, Meydey is the one who sets the prices and makes them transparent in the different profiles of registered users. Since it works like a Marketplace, users will be limited at first, both professionals and patients. For this reason, it is likely that some specialties will be activated as there are health professionals who register in them.

In order for a user to be a health professional or registered patient and be able to use the app, they must register and verify their identity. This identity verification is necessary to ensure the confidentiality of patient information and the credentials and suitability of healthcare professionals. Identity verification is carried out using facial biometrics and with the image of your identification document through an integration with MEDIPASS, a company authorized to issue medical licenses using facial biometrics.

Service mode

The service modality currently provided corresponds to “Meydey Home”, and allows a patient to request assistance at their home from one of the registered and validated health professionals. Other care modalities will be added in future versions.

Health Professionals

In order for a health professional to use the app to offer services, they must register as such, including verification of their identity, which is carried out through facial biometrics and their identification document.

The professionals who can currently register by validating their profession with the National Registry of Individual Health Providers of Chile are: Doctors, Kinesiologists, Nurses and Higher Level Nursing Technician.


In order for a patient to use the app to request services, they must register as such, including verification of their identity, which is carried out through facial biometrics and with their identification document. Subsequently, you must enter a means of payment, which can be a debit or credit card, using Transbank's “One Click” service.

When requesting a home consultation, the patient will indicate their requirement in the app. All professionals of the required specialty who are within an adequate distance will receive a notification with a Google Maps, which indicates the location of the patient and the travel time required. When a professional accepts the request, the patient will be notified, who must prepay for the requested consultation through the app. This amount may be refunded in the event of cancellation, as long as the professional has not started the consultation, which happens when it has actually started.

At the end of a consultation, the patient will evaluate the professional who treated him, and the professional in turn will also evaluate the patient. The patient will receive, electronically, the documents that the professional issued, which include prescriptions, test orders and others. You will also receive the receipt corresponding to the service provided, which you can reimburse at your Isapre.

It is important to note that this app should not be used for emergencies, since the service was not designed to manage situations of this type.
