Good app with great workouts. However, in my 2nd week it is giving me workouts with equipment I don't own and I can't change it. So I am forced to "shuffle" a workout and even that doesn't register as a workout in my diary. It also has a "favourites" menu, however there see s to be no way to select a workout as a favourite. And the workout reminder alert doesn't seem to work either. 5 stars when these issues are addressed. Sony Xperia Z5.
I always struggled with abs and spent too much time on it. This timed approach completely changed the game for me and it works a lot more efficiently in every way. The app is easy to use and the tracking and meal plan are also a key value for me. Loved it. Would rate 5* if they add another muscle part workouts in the future. Jeff knows what he's doing
ATHLEAN-X Is no joke. Ive been following the AX-1 program for 3 weeks now. I have been taking it serious, and have completely altered my lifestyle and nutrition. The changes I've seen have been tremendous. Once, I found the 6-pack promise app, I knew I had an excellent way to track my extra ab work that is recommended. In fact, I wish my AX-1 program was delivered in this format, as well. Tracking progress is a breeze, just click start and follow along. Even if you can't keep up, just do your best, take a moment to relax and jump back in. Soon you will be surprised with yourself, too.
Great with nice exercises that start burning and increasing the heat from the first few reps. I hope they build other apps in the same fashion for other body parts, mainly biceps and pecs (without any equipment of course; trx and rings could be nice, though). Keep up the good work, mate!
This started off as a great app with some innovative variations of common ab exercises. Ultimately after using it for quite a while I likely would have bought the paid version to get as much as possible from it. Unfortunately after workout number 8 it locked me out unless I paid for the upgrade. It won't allow me to progress further north use the shuffle function. Giving it 3 stars for the 8 good workout programs I was able to use.
I'm into the 3rd week and bought the full app which is worth the buck. (You will have video instructions to all exercises). Although free app is also just enough for daily workout. Ideal add-on app for your home workout routine.This app brings unorthodox abb exercises (I'm still a beginner), therefore you will looking for more eachday. Checks the workouts you've done and keeps a track of it. Haven't got results yet(still in 3rd wk). Will post again with results 😊
