About this app

The SmartView Connect™ patient application is intended to collect data from Bluetooth-enabled implanted cardiac devices. The patients’ heart rhythm data and diagnostic information can be retrieved, and automatically and wirelessly transferred on a periodic or event-driven basis to the patient's doctor.

The App uses an internet connection via WiFi or cellular network to send information about the implanted cardiac device. Information is encrypted to ensure privacy and security of transmissions.

The App allows you to check the status of the cardiac device, obtain information about the cardiac device including its battery status, view the date of last and next transmissions, send manual transmissions, be informed of the status of the application's connectivty and obtain instructions on how to re-establish connectivity.
