here is why I did not give 5 stars. The default function of the compass is unnecessary and is annoying. yes it can switched off but why do you need to know which way your are facing while using a microscope? Using the app in the upright portrait position is the easiest however the fact that the navigation buttons of the phone don't go away makes difficult to use the controls. And if you could reduce the size of the controls in landscape mode you could see the object you're trying to view better.

I bought the premium version but starting up is the same, slow process as before. Maybe it now won't contain ads but you wouldn't know it from the appearance. If you eliminate the ads, then the app should change to reflect that and speed up accordingly. Needs a lot of work before it's actually worth any money. I'll add just a bit more: now that I've paid for it, the app doesn't work at all. Funny thing!
