Mimir Gate is a privacy-first Android phone app from Mimirs Foresight LLC, built to help reduce unwanted calls, interruptions, and voicemail clutter.
Mimir Gate works locally on your phone. It is designed around a simple idea: people you know should ring normally, while unknown and spam-like callers should be easier to control.
With Mimir Gate, you can:
• Let saved contacts ring normally
• Silence unknown callers for review
• Apply separate handling for international numbers
• Add exact numbers to your spam list
• Add wildcard block rules, such as 855*
• Choose what happens to spam-listed callers
• Review local recent calls handled by Mimir Gate
• Use a deliberate long-press Drop action for calls you do not want to reach voicemail
• Keep block rules and app settings local to your device
Call handling options include:
• Allow: rings normally
• Silence: shows the call without ringing
• Send to voicemail: declines the call
• Drop: answers and hangs up quickly
Drop is designed for numbers you intentionally do not want to reach voicemail. Because carrier and device behavior can vary, voicemail outcomes are not guaranteed on every network.
Mimir Gate also includes safety-minded bypasses for real-life situations. Saved contacts can ring normally, and repeated callers or recently called numbers can be allowed through when enabled.
Privacy is central to Mimir Gate.
In the current version, Mimir Gate does not use:
• Internet permission
• Advertising SDKs
• Analytics SDKs
• Billing SDKs
• SMS permission
• Microphone permission
• Shared Android call-log permission
• Call audio recording
• Cloud storage
Contacts, local recents, block rules, and settings stay on your device. Diagnostics, if enabled, are local and redacted. Nothing is sent automatically.
Mimir Gate may need to be set as your default phone app for core call-handling features. This allows Android to route incoming and outgoing call controls through Mimir Gate.
Mimir Gate is built for people who want a calmer phone, fewer spam interruptions, and more control over who gets through.
