App very easy to use and add devices. Live view fare, a bit slow with p2p, but it's because of the protocol itself. On local network and dyndns quite good. But dyndns isn't as safe to use. On playback of devices the app needs a LOT of work, very unpredictable, even on local network, which is the fastest connection. Overall the app is average.

Good features, but needs stability improvements The app is overall good for monitoring home CCTV on mobile, with a clear interface and decent video feed. However, it frequently suffers from connection drops and buffering issues. Additionally, the live audio volume is quite low even at maximum settings. With fixes for connectivity and audio output, this would easily be a 5-star app.

Functionality, the app is quite good. But, the camera (Dahua)​ interface firmware needs some work to improve connectivity when the camera is being used on a system where the ISP uses CG-NAT, doesn't have port forwarding and blocks incoming connections. Very often it takes multiple failed attempts to make connection. Significant improvement is possible as the Govee devices on the same network are virtually 100% available immediately externally. This is a significant shortcoming.
