Audio Compressor — Reduce Audio File Size Easily

Audio Compressor is a simple, fast tool for shrinking your audio files right on your device. Whether you want to free up storage, share songs more easily, or send voice recordings and audio over messaging apps, it helps you reduce audio file size in just a few taps.

All compression happens locally on your phone — your files are never uploaded to any server, so your audio stays completely private.

WHAT IT DOES
Audio Compressor reduces file size by lowering the audio bitrate. Depending on the original file and the settings you choose, you can significantly shrink your files — up to around 90% smaller for high-bitrate files. Some audio is already highly compressed and may only get a little smaller, and the app always shows you the result before you save, so there are no surprises.

Compressed in their original format:
MP3, AAC, M4A, MP2, AC3, OGG, Opus, WMA

Converted to space-saving M4A:
WAV, FLAC, AIFF
(These lossless formats are automatically converted to M4A so you get a real size reduction.)

HOW TO USE
1. Tap the upload button
2. Select one or more audio files
3. Choose your compression method (Quality or Bitrate) and adjust the level

5. Review the before/after sizes, then save the compressed files to your storage

A NOTE ON QUALITY
Audio compression works by reducing bitrate, which is what lowers the file size. At higher settings the difference is often hard to notice; at lower settings you save more space with a more audible trade-off. You are always in control of the balance between size and quality.

Good working now not saving in default music player album folder after compress hiding we can't see mp3 file default music player album folder

um The reason why most people come to use audio compressor apps is because they're trying to send something to somebody and they can't because the file is too big so new compress something why is it making the audio files bigger that makes absolutely no sense to me That's what this app does I could not get it to get smaller so I'm giving it a two star just to be nice but I mean the point is to make it smaller so you can send it I know probably 90% of us use this for that so I don't know why???

Such a great app. I tried reducing .mp3 but it won't save to my phone but on changing the extension to .aac, the resized audio was saved to my phone internal storage.
