Use your smartphone scan and bag your groceries while you shop.

Create your ScanIt! Wallet and add your preferred methods of payment,;
GooglePay, PayPal and Venmo are all accepted as well as all major US Credit Cards.
When you’re done shopping, press the checkout button and proceed to the Scan It Mobile Checkout Area.

When the light turns Green, you’re on your way!

Prefer to use one of our in-store devices? That’s ok. Shop with an in-store device. When you’re done, open the ScanIt! Mobile app, press Checkout and proceed to the Scan It Mobile Checkout.

The app works ok. It is slow when searching for items and sometimes wouldn't register a scan. I would give it 2 stars for functionality. I took off 1 star, not because of the app but the hassle from the store. I liked to use it because it was quick when you checked out and kind of liked the process of pick, scan, and check out with just a barcode. Until they do audit on me at the check out. I felt like a THIEF when they did that. I will not use it again.

Utterly miserable to use. I don't know why they took this functionality out of the main Stop & Shop app. There is no clear sign-in button; you need to try adding a coupon before it will prompt you to sign in. And you will need to sign in every time you close and reopen the app. If there is any kind of "remember me" option, it's not clearly visible anywhere. Assuming the Scan-it system is actually functioning at your location, the app works fine. But accessibility and UI navigation sucks.

Quite bluntly, this app sucks. It requires connection to in-store WiFi. Frequently the app won't connect. Similar store apps allow you to bypass checkout. This one doesn't. You still have to go through checkout. Half the time, the app assumes that the items I've already scanned are items that still need to be scanned at checkout. I usually wind up waiting for a sales clerk to sort it out. This saves me no time. I'm deleting this app & reconsidering whether I'll continue shopping here.
