Moodly is an emotion diary app that helps you record your daily thoughts and feelings, then uses AI to analyze them and offer personalized advice and reflection questions. It is for anyone who wants to make sense of their day and understand themselves a little better.
When you write a diary entry, the AI reads your text and identifies your main emotions. It shows the mix of 12 emotions—such as joy, excitement, calm, gratitude, sadness, depression, anger, irritation, anxiety, fear, exhaustion, and loneliness—and suggests short advice and a reflection question tailored to how you feel that day. You can save your answers to those questions and revisit them later.
As you keep writing, Moodly learns your writing style and emotional patterns. This creates your personal persona, so over time you receive more tailored emotion analysis and advice. Persona is first created after 3 entries, then automatically updated every 5 new entries.
If you are not sure what to write, you can start from one of five templates: feelings, daily summary, gratitude, positive moments, or dreams. Each template has starter sentences you can use as-is or edit. You can write one entry per day and see all entries and emotions on an emotion calendar.
The statistics screen shows how often each emotion appears, your writing streak, how many entries you wrote this month, average entry length, and your most frequent emotion. You can also view your learned persona: writing style, value keywords, emotional patterns, preferred advice style, common themes, and language tone.
In settings you can switch between dark and light mode and turn on app lock with a password. The app supports Korean, English, Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, and Vietnamese.
You can sign in with Naver, Kakao, Google, or LINE, or use the app as a guest and connect an account later.
