BPZ Optimal Recovery is a patient support program developed by the Berner Prothetikzentrum for patients undergoing hip or knee replacement surgery. The program is delivered in collaboration with our participating partners: articon, Kniechirurgie Bern, and OrthoRohrbach.
Via the app, you will be informed about your care pathway, receive daily exercises helping you to recover, and you will be able to report on your recovery and your symptoms. Your evolution will be monitored throughout the entire process - before and after surgery. You can optionally connect your own activity data through HealthKit or Health Connect for additional insights.
Your surgeon will receive regular reports on your progress, and be able to offer you an optimal treatment experience and outcomes.
