About this game

The scaffold is up against a shophouse on Petaling Lane and the crew has one rule: start at street level and work your way to the roofline. Mural Quest cuts giant murals into panels of picture logic, and every panel you solve opens the ones beside and above it.

How to play
1. Read the tape. The numbers by each row and column are runs of paint, in order. "3 1" means three bricks, a gap of at least one, then one more.
2. Spray the bricks you know are paint and chalk a cross on bricks that stay bare. Drag for a whole run, or hold a brick to chalk it.
3. Cross-check. Every row helps a column and every column helps a row.
4. Climb the scaffold. The street-level panels are open, and any other panel opens once a panel beside it or below it is painted.
5. Paint the last panel and the whole wall is revealed.

Each panel has exactly one answer, and you can always reach it from the clues, so nobody on this crew has to guess.

Four districts each have one giant wall, 43 panels in all. Petaling Lane shows shophouses, lanterns and a wau kite, Riverside Kampung a stilt house and a hornbill under the crescent moon, Harbor Wall a sunset over the jetty across 16 panels, and Twin Spiers fireworks over the city towers on 15×15 panels. Paint six panels in a district to open the next. Between walls, twelve stencil side-jobs make quick one-sheet tags.

The Daily wall is 10×10 on weekdays and 15×15 at weekends, and every crew in town hits the same one. Earn three crowns per sheet: Clean for no drips, Solo for no spotter calls and Fast for beating par. Turn the tape off in Settings for raw mode, checked only at the end. Cans from every sheet buy five wall surfaces, from Red Brick to Roller Shutter, and four spray caps for your kit, alongside 17 awards such as Roofline.

Mural Quest plays fully offline, with no login, no adverts and nothing to buy.
