About this app

Raksha PDF is an all-in-one PDF scanner, reader, editor and converter for Android. Use your phone camera as a document scanner to turn paper documents and receipts into PDF files, read and edit PDF pages, organise documents, convert file formats (PDF to Word, PDF to Excel and more) and protect supported PDFs with a password. No account or sign-in is required.

Privacy and processing

Selected documents, images and OCR text are processed on the device and are not uploaded to a server operated by the Raksha PDF developer. Google ML Kit components may download required models and collect diagnostic or app-performance information as explained in the Privacy Policy.

Important output information

PDF-to-Word, PDF-to-Excel and Word-to-PDF conversion focuses mainly on extracted text. Complex formatting, tables, images and fonts may not be preserved exactly.

Adding text, signatures, redactions or photos flattens only the edited page. Selectable text, links or form fields on that edited page may no longer remain interactive.

PDF compression rasterises pages and may make selectable text, links or form fields non-interactive.
