This is a paid version of MX Player which provides an uninterrupted video experience without any ads.

It is crafted to be lightweight with only core functionalities. So some regionally restricted features such as online videos may not be available at the moment.

About "Draw over other apps" permission: This permission is required to block system buttons when input blocking is activated on the playback screen.
About "Pair with Bluetooth devices" permission: This permission is required to improve AV sync when Bluetooth headset is connected.
About "Disable screen lock" permission: This permission is required to remove screen lock temporarily when Kids lock mode is used. Nevertheless, secure screen lock will not be disabled.
About "Control vibration", "Prevent device from sleeping" permissions: These permissions are required for media playback on some devices.

Ratings and reviews

Everything is good except for the inability to copy and move videos from one folder to the next. It let's me copy a video to an effective Clipboard, but fails to move them to chosen folders and all chosen folders appear, empty even when they should have dozens of videos in them. I've restored 5 stars as the developer says they're working on the issue, so hopefully it will be fixed in a future update to work with the latest Android OS.

please add an option to have regular album art display instead of spinning record player. Really loving this media player. Downloadable skins would be nice addition. a lot of improvements so far. Still a lot more to be made but it is now (serviceable) as a av player. Hopefully it keeps improving on the audio aspect cause it needs a lot more settings and customization. AND SKINS

Very good media player with the ability to properly read most video files. Recently, they added a bunch of buttons to the top of the list but I don't use any of them and there's no option to remove them, I'd love to see that added. I'd also love to see an option to add the audio/video delay to the "quick options" as that can come up a lot when casting or on a Bluetooth speaker and the current setting is hidden away and you can't change its value at the same time as you see the video
