Ratings and reviews

On Android TV: 1) 30 to 40 ads i.e., too many ads per movie. In the movie for each break there are 4 ads and there are 8 breaks per movie. 2) Somehow the video and sound quality has been decreased to low quality on MX Player TV compared to Amazon Prime Video App. 3) The only way to close an app is scroll all the way in the menu bar and click. no double click on back button nor a pop-up to close the app Nitpick: UI design feels pretty outdated for 2025 assuming currently owned by amazon

Before when I was using MX Player TV because of too many advertisements I uninstalled it but later on when I came to know that Amazon has taken over it so I reinstalled it again but this time there is different issue. Advertisements are less but when advertisements come the screen goes off after advertisements gets over and screen shows something went wrong and this keeps on going on but further movie will not play. Again I'm disappointed with MX Player TV. I'll uninstall it.

The forward / rewind seek is really troublesome same like YouTube app on TV where it shows the seek bar everytime you try to forward or rewind, and you have to press OK to contnue playing. Why can't the seek be simple and easy like presing left button to quickly rewind 10 secs. and pressing right button to quickly foward 10 secs., and pressing OK buton to pause and play. (Same like Hotstar, SonyLiv, etc.) Only the up and down buttons should show the seek bar and other links on the screen.
