I have loved this site for years and paid for full access long before the Android app was released because I wanted to support it... I'm greatly disappointed that you're trying to get more money out of the people that have been loyal to you for so long. I didn't expect to have to pay again for that. It looks like a great app but I'll just continue to listen from my computer rather than pay again for a product I've already purchased. This is a HUGE disappointment after waiting several years for an Android release.
I love the website and I'm so happy to see it available on mobile now. Hopeful that things like the Magic Generators will be available through the app at some point. I recommend everyone try this app out, and visit the mynoise website to try out some of the presets and settings other people have put together. The app is very convenient though, even though it doesn't have all the features of the website yet.
The app stays on in the background long after it has been paused, closed and the notification bar has disappeared, draining battery and preventing me from turning the ringvolume down. Also, the sound will stop randomly when turned on or when the sleep display is shown. If it didn't have these bugs I would give this app 5 stars! Please fix
I have had severe tinnitus in my left ear for 7 years, I have learned to cope with it but some days if my sinuses are acting up it is unbearable and I spend the day on the couch with this running on my pc. Glad it's now available for Android so I can use my earphones and take it with me. White noise and high frequency rain is what works for me.
Pros: The sounds are top notch- the best out there. Extremely immersive and customizable. Cons: Some of the sounds seem to have an occasional pop or crackle which kind of deters from the immersion, otherwise they're perfect. The app frequently puts itself into a bugged state where audio wont play, requiring a reload.
This app is great, but it still uses a ton of battery in the background. My battery was draining and I saw that this app was at the top of the list. I hope it gets fixed soon, because the sounds are super useful for concentration and getting work done! Yes, this even happens with the normal CPU setting and the most recent update.
Battery usage is now back to normal!
