We've been using it for 9 months... While the camera stream (usually) works, it sometimes won't load unless I close and reopen the app. I refuse to believe the temperature sensor, as my wife and I have had different values simultaneously on each other's devices, all while our nest is consistently about 4+ degrees lower at all times. The app runs in the background regardless of the camera bring on. I also get notifications about noise when the camera is off.

When it is working, the app is amazing! It does a great job tracking my little ones breathing and sleeping. However it does have some connectivity issues. Our wifi is strong throughout our house and no other devices have issues. About once a week, the app will say that it cannot connect. It often fixes itself after a few minutes to a few hours. You can also force it to correct by unplugging and replugging the camera.

It's a decent app, and it does mostly what's it's supposed too I have just been using the cameras. Hardware is very sensitive and breaks easily, so be very gentle. Makes a great gift idea for a shower, etc, from a group of friends, etc. Overall, I'm happy with it, but you have to pay a monthly or yearly fee to monitor . That should be noted on the box and in advertising.
