Unable to connect. When we first had our Ecobee thermostat installed, everything worked properly with the app. It was great to be able to change the thermostat when we were away from home. I'm not sure what has changed over the last few months, but the app cannot connect. I've uninstalled and reinstalled on several occasions. Still no luck. Hoping they can get the issue solved, soon. I miss the functions I had when the app worked properly.

The app is hard to navigate and the thermostat won't save energy the way they suggest. You have to turn off Eco+ or in my case it was actually using more energy by heating up the house beyond what was called for. The run time and temperature charts don't work anymore. To review video history you have to manually scroll through every video to get to the day and time you want to review, which for a 30 day history can take several minutes. it fails alot. the app doesn't work right a lot of times. I will try and reset my temps or turn the unit off from my app and it will act busy, and then go right back to the prior setting, not the setting I wanted to change too. then, it will work okay for a while.And then it will do it again, so it's just not a reliable app it's not even running my system.It's just to control the thermostat in the hallway. most of the time, I try to do it when i'm in bed.And I end up having to get up and do it
