Almost never works properly. When I try to turn the camera off, it gets stuck on "Turning camera off" until it decides to actually shut off hours or even days later. When I try to turn the camera back on, it says there was a problem connecting to the camera and I have to close and reopen the app 10-15 times until it actually works. For how much I paid for this device, I would think an app that is required for operation would actually work. I have a great wifi network and a newer model phone.

We apologize that you are experiencing issues. Can you please delete and reinstall the app and unplug your camera head for about 1 minute from the stand and plug it back in? If this does not resolve your issue please contact our support team at 1-866-696-2648.

After 6 months of ownership it's a given half the time I open the app it won't work. Can't connect to the camera, get the spinning circle, or won't be able to change the camera from on/off. The solution, just sit/wait until it "decides" to work again. Don't waste time with the troubleshooting, restarting your modem/phone/router or reconnecting Nanit to WiFi... App has updated, maybe twice since my review, still terrible. Giving real motion alerts but can't get audio or video feed... Useless!!!

Review update months later: Video feed basically never works properly anymore. Absolutely no reason to use this or pay for the subscription plan just to look at a frozen video. OG 3* Review: Video feed lags out a lot. Sound is also super buggy if you turn background on and another app tries to use the sound. When it works it's nice and the info given is helpful, it's just frustrating how often it bugs out.
