Nardinum finds perfumes from a description of how you want to smell.
Write it the way you would say it out loud: "warm vanilla for cold evenings",
"fresh citrus I can wear to the office", "something green and peppery". The app
reads your description and returns fragrances that match it. You don't need to
know any perfume vocabulary to start.
What you can do
• Search by description. Describe a mood, an occasion, a season or a memory, and
get a ranked list of fragrances that fit it.
• Search by notes and accords. Look up the materials you already like (rose,
oud, vetiver, tonka, bergamot) and find perfumes built around them.
• Browse the catalogue. 102,000+ fragrances from 6,400+ brands, from widely sold
classics to small independent houses.
• Read the full profile. Each perfume page shows its note pyramid (top, heart,
base), its dominant accords, and how it is usually worn: season, time of day and
intensity.
• Explore what a note smells like. Plain-language cards explain individual
materials, so "iso e super" or "labdanum" stops being a guess.
• Find related fragrances. Every perfume links to others built from similar
materials. Sharing materials is not the same thing as smelling alike, and these
are not dupes or clones.
• Save favourites. Keep a shortlist of what you want to try, sample or buy.
• Pick up where you left off. Your search and view history stays with your
account across devices.
How the search works
Your description is interpreted as a scent profile (notes, accords, intensity,
season and occasion) and matched against the catalogue rather than against
perfume names. That is why a query like "smells like a bookshop in the rain"
returns something sensible instead of nothing.
Signing in is optional
The catalogue, the search and every perfume page work without an account. Sign
in with Google or Apple only if you want favourites, history and recommendations
that adapt to your taste. You can delete your account and all its data at any
time from the Profile tab, or at https://sillage.style/account-deletion.html
About the content
Perfume descriptions in the app are written automatically by AI from each
fragrance's notes and accords. They are a starting point for exploring a scent,
not a substitute for smelling it or for professional review.
Nardinum is an independent fragrance catalogue and search tool, published by the
team behind sillage.style. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored
by any perfume house. Brand and product names appear only to identify the
fragrances listed in the catalogue. The app does not sell perfume and does not
process payments.
Available in English, French, Spanish and Ukrainian.
