Your encrypted messages stay encrypted — even on your own device. If someone picks up your phone, opens the app, and reads through your texts, all they'll see is a wall of scrambled characters. No passphrase, no readable

- Most encrypted messengers protect messages while they're being sent, but decrypt everything once it lands on your phone. Cryptic Text Messenger keeps messages locked on both ends. You only see the real conversation while
you're actively using your passphrase during that session. Close the app, and the messages go back to being unreadable.
How does it work?
- You and your contact agree on a passphrase. Set it in the app, and every message between you is encrypted with AES-256-GCM before it leaves your device. When you open the conversation, you enter the passphrase to read your
messages. Without it, nobody — not a nosy friend, not a jealous partner, not someone who stole your phone — can read a thing.
