Ratings and reviews

Logs you out regularly "for security." Annoying. Very similar to other states' lottery apps. Points earned towards app-specific prizes are super confusing and seem to be determined willy-nilly: if I scan 4 of the same ticket, I'll get 10 points, 25 points, 10 points, and 100 points, respectively. Overall, it's ok. Not gonna change the world of lotto apps, but always convenient to be able to check tickets wherever. Overall odds of winning in the games sucks compared to other states, tho!

4 stars based solely on issues with the mobile app. There is only 2 or 3 scratch off tickets that will scan for reward points and/or scan to check for winners and would like to have the cash 5 play options that I do buying them in store. Otherwise, I am overall pleased with the app. and love the variety of games, etc. Especially the rewards drawings. So until I hit the BIG ONE I will keep dreaming of that day playing the NC Education Lottery!!!

The ticket checker used to run smoothly and effectively. Now it's full of error codes and error messages! Examples. Couldn't identify ticket. Invalid ticket scan. Then once your scanning for lucky rewards it says "previously entered into your account". This app is a joke now. I am probably throwing away $ due to ticket checker error messages! This used to be a 5 star app. Now it's just JUNK!!! Fix the app and I will change the rating. Then there is waiting for the spinning circle to stop. UGH!
