About this game

Available exclusively for Netflix members.

Leave no survivors. In this sequel, you're Skullface, a killer stuck inside a retro horror movie catalog — solve puzzles, stalk victims and get stabby.

So, somebody thought it would be a great idea to summon Skullface, Slayaway Camp’s violentest killer, and now he’s trapped inside a very familiar-looking streaming service. That means hundreds of potential new victims splattered across classic movie genres, and — let’s face it — those unsuspecting innocents aren’t going to decapitate themselves. Your hall pass for retro horror awaits!

Step into Skullface’s blood-soaked boots or choose from a murderous lineup of horror monsters like Gourd Head, the Killer Fridge and Demon Doll. This funny tribute to ‘80s horror invites you to perfect the art of the scare. Maneuver through sliding block logic puzzles, find hiding spots, collect special weapons and unleash gruesome finishers to elevate your kills and escalate your score.

Rack up star ratings to unlock an expanding horror universe packed with new genres, settings, slayers and stunts.

Features:

• Outwit and overwhelm: Solve intricate sliding logic puzzles to trap, slash and corner your victims. Creative kills garner top ratings. Strategy is key.
• Collect to kill: Collect stars to unlock new genres of movies to infiltrate, creepy new monsters, minigame challenges and bonus puzzles.
• Genre-specific slaughter: Slide into unique streaming content categories like "Dark Violent Family Comedies," "Law Enforcement Laughs" and "Long, Overly Literal Titles" — seriously, who wrote these?
• Unlock the unthinkable: Collect hidden weapons and unshackle new executioners equipped with devastating special moves that bring even more mayhem and gore.

I love the original. It's an absolute blast and still a joy to play. This sequel is okay. It does some things pretty well, but overall it's just not as good. I feel like they already had the perfect formula in terms of graphics, soundtrack, and mechanics and decided to change the look a bit and alter the mechanics somewhat and toss in a watered down, generic soundtrack , which takes away from the greatness that was the original. I give it 3 stars just because it is still fun enough.

Not really liking the new art style. It's a little mushy like it's made of half melted Play-doh. The change to the movement is an unwelcome one. The original slide made everything smooth & dynamic. Having to swipe 10 times to go in a straight line is just annoying. So far the levels are fun. I like the new cutting grass & shaking trees mechanic. The music is fantastic. The humor is still there. Overall it's an OK but not great sequel. So, like most horror franchises the 1st is best.
