About this app

File Declutter Helper turns "storage almost full" panic into a calm, written plan.

Instead of deleting things in a rush and regretting it later, walk through your device and log each big file or folder: its name, where it lives (Downloads, Photos, Video, Docs, or other), its size in MB, and the action you have decided on — Keep, Archive, or Delete. The app totals the reclaimable megabytes from everything marked for archiving or deletion, so you can see exactly how much space your plan will free before you touch a single file.

A THINKING TOOL, NOT A CLEANER
This app deliberately does not scan your storage and never deletes anything itself — no scary permissions, no "cleaner" snake oil, no access to your files at all. It is the notepad where the decisions live: you review, you decide, you execute at your own pace, and you tick items off the plan.

WHERE IT SHINES
- Phone storage warnings: build the reclaim list once instead of hunting for space every month.
- Old video folders: the size field makes the big wins obvious immediately.
- Sentimental files: "Archive" is the honest middle ground between hoarding and deleting.
- Moving to a new phone or laptop: decide in advance what deserves to make the trip.

THE RUNNING TOTAL CHANGES BEHAVIOR
Watching "Reclaimable MB" climb as you triage is quietly motivating — decluttering storage starts to feel like progress you can measure rather than a chore you avoid. Ten entries in, the plan usually adds up to more free space than any automatic cleaner ever found.

PRIVATE BY ARCHITECTURE
Because the app never reads your actual files, your data could not be safer: only the notes you type exist, they stay on your device, and everything works offline with no account and no analytics watching your storage habits.

Ten minutes of honest triage, one measurable plan, and a device that finally breathes again.
Plan a storage cleanup: note big files, pick keep or delete, tally freed space.
