Continued use of Location Services running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. Nextdoor doesn't run Location Services in the background unless you give us permission by turning on optional features that require it.

Ratings and reviews

Unusable. Ads take up the entire feed and I'm getting posts from miles and miles away, despite my settings. Apparently there is no more crime tab like there was in the past? That was all I used this for. Extremely confusing and congested feed and interface. Extremely buggy. Most actions I try to take do not work. I see zero reasons to use this app and will be deleting.

Im pretty sure what this app does is illegal. The directions to get them to stop selling personal information don't work and the link you click for it just tells you how to ask them to stop. It's just a cycle of "click here to stop" and it tells you to "click here to stop" but it never works. You also have to go thru 100 different pages and disable 100 different notifications to stop getting email. I have done it 100 different times and still get emails I want my account and information deleted

For me, it's the notifications that frustrate me about this app. I am not interested in national posts from this app, and more than twice a day it's pushing a notification "neighbors everywhere like this", your response missed theark, it misunderstood the nature of what I had an issue with, however the breadcrumbs did allow me to find the correct settings to adjust the notifications.
